Our Farms

Our food can only be as good as the vegetables that go into it, and that's why we make a point to know where they come from and how they're grown. More than a stamp or status conferred by a government agency, we trust people who have dedicated their lives' work to the health of our environment, community and bodies. We're committed to building relationships with farmers who practice safe, sustainable, responsible agriculture.

That means forgoing the use of synthetic herbicides and pesticides except in the case of imminent catastrophic loss. After all, small farms need to be able to stay afloat in order to make a positive impact. We review farmers' growing practices and choose to work only with those who share our commitment to protecting your baby and bettering the world. We know their decisions have far-reaching effects, and we're glad of it.

Together with you and our farmers, we're working to leave the earth better than we found it. It's a tall order, we know, but we're trying. We really believe we can change the world by rethinking the way we eat. Here's the thing: just because we might not be able to save the planet, doesn't mean we shouldn't try.
